A study conducted shows that people who ate 128 gm of medium sized grapefruit or unsweetened grape juices or the same amount of water, will reduce the average calorie intake by nearly 21% for people who ate grape fruit and varies to 29% for people who drank unsweetened grape juice and 28% for people who drank water.
There is also an increase in good cholesterol by 6% to 8% from pre-loading before the meal, suggests the research.
