The Truth about spot reduction

You might have a tendency to put on more weight on a certain part of your body, the two big areas being hips and belly. Most men tend to put on fat on their belly, and women tend to gain fat on their hips. But when you gain or lose fat, it happens all over your body, including your toes and your fingers. So, you can’t choose to lose fat from certain spots. Start making the effort the right way and results will happen.

The important thing is that you’ve identified an area that you want to reduce and you should get on a plan to help you lose the fat. Use this problem area as a yardstick to measure your progress. But don’t assume that you will only lose fat from your arms and not your shoulders.
