Here we analyze the nutrition of these newly launched Smart Chips, and tell you if they are really healthier, or is there some shocking truths hidden in the nutrition on these Smart Chips. We previously told you about the healthiest chips in India. The healthiest chips with Senor Pepito, at 440 calories per 100 gm servings. Compared to regular chips, Monaco Smart Chips actually have 20% more carbohydrates than regular chips.
Now, there are 2 kinds of fat- saturated fat and unsaturated fat. Saturated fat is the unhealthy fat, that clogs up your arteries with cholesterol build up. The unsaturated fat is the healthy fat, found in almonds and other foods, that lower bad cholesterol. Now, Smart Chips contain overall 30% lower fat, which sounds like great news. But what is shocking is that they have 20% more of the unhealthy saturated fat, than regular chips.
The one thing that we really like about Smart Chips is that they have small packing size. As a result, you consume less calories.
