Tree Pose (Vrikshasana)
Benefits of the Tree Pose (Vrikshasana)
Regularly practicing the vrikshasana improves concentration, balance and coordination because while performing this asana the weight of the entire body is balanced on one foot, so the muscles of that leg are strengthened and toned as well.

- Bend the right leg from the knee, raise the right thigh as high as possible keeping the sole of the right foot inside of the left thigh.

- Lower the arms and return back to position #1. Pause for a few seconds and repeat on the opposite leg.
