Carrot Soup Recipe

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
Carrots: 3 Cups, peeled and chopped
Low fat milk: 5 tbsp
Tomatoes: 2
Butter: 2 tsp
Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
Garlic (peeled): 2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder: A pinch
Salt: to taste

Method:

1. Boil carrots in a vessel for 7 minutes til tender and cooked.
2. Boil tomatoes in the water to remove the skin and also remove the seeds.
3. Blend together the tomatoes, carrots and garlic.
4. Melt the butter in a heavy based vessel and add tomato-carrot mixture.
5. Allow it to cook for few minutes.
6. Now add milk and again cook the mixture for sometime.
7. Remove from the flame. Add a pinch of pepper powder, salt and garam masala to the soup.
8. Serve hot.
