Foods such as wheat, rice, oats, cornmeal, barley, or products made from these foods are considered grains. Grains are high in carbohydrates which provide energy to your brain and muscles. Whole grains are  more nutritious and wholesome. They supply more vitamin E, B, and folic acid, as well as important minerals such as magnesium, zinc, and iron. Whole grains are also fiber-rich, which can help you lose weight by making you feel fuller throughout the day and prevent overeating. Consuming a balanced amount of whole grains is an important part of a healthy diet.

Here are some of the lists of grains:

Wheat Wheat is rich in carbohydrates , protein for growth and development, the essential B vitamins for good health, good nerves and good digestion.
Rice Rice is a good source of protein and a staple food in many parts of the world.  Rice is low in fat, and calories while high in fiber and other nutrients.
Barley Whole grain barley is a healthy high-fiber, high-protein grain boasting numerous health benefits.
Millet The tiny grain is gluten free and packed with minerals and vitamins. Millet is tasty, with a mildly sweet, nut-like flavor and contains a myriad of beneficial nutrients.
Maize Maize is a staple crop, and many people rely on it as a primary source of nutrition.
Oat Oats are low in saturated fat, no cholesterol, is low in sodium and sugar. It is high in dietary fiber
Buckwheat It doesn’t contain gluten, making it an excellent dietary option for those who are gluten sensitive or who have celiac disease. It is high in fiber and protein, and is a good source of iron and magnesium.
Sorghum Sorghum is the nutritious cereal which makes healthy diet.  It is cooked as porridge for breakfast or along with other dishes.
Rye Rye is a very good source of dietary fiber, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, protein and vitamin B1.
Quinoa whole grains provide a whole host of health benefits including lowering heart disease risk and helping with weight maintenance.
