World’s sexist man does not just carry the looks to attract women but the muscle and power too. He is a tall, well built muscular Australian touching 6’3 and like his action films he is a real life hero too. He performs most of his stunts on his own and is a menacing figure in movies like X-men, Van Helsing etc and is athletic and hardworking.

For his roles Huge Jackman trained real hard to gain mass and implicit fitness levels on his lean and tall body. He progressed his body to fast and lean types rather than slow and bulky. To build muscles he didn’t starve himself with nutrition but followed a 6 meal day diet of fruits, vegetables, lean meats etc. He ate around a 1000 calories before his workouts to make up fot the energy to be lost. He gave his body the right nutrition to stay lean and fast and athletic.

He built mass by changing the tempo at which he was lifting weight. He slowed down the frequency at which he was doing his weights and built control and power to feel the weights more on the muscle. He counted to 4 when he lifted and dropped it at 1 and then again. For six weeks he followed this pattern and then shifted to strength training. This gave the muscle more tension and stress to break, repair and grow.

For strength training, he didn’t have any tempo, frequency speed or any rules to follow. What just mattered was how much could he lift. He allowed himself to lift whatever he could with any objections. The mass building phase made weights look lighter to him and was bench pressing around 142 kg.

His training didn’t end at mass building and strength but included yoga, pilates and running to his body. Rest is equally important for the body to heal and prepare for the next. Once a week he did a boot camp to build flexibility, athleticism and endurance. Boot camps made him lean and tough and you know him as Wolverine.
